This new record production dedicated to maestro José Antonio Abreu, by Eric Chácon and Luis Quintero, has resulted in an album recorded live and based on flute and guitar, which addresses works by Bach, Ravel, Mozart and Albeniz with great virtuosity, but also pieces by Latin American composers such as Antonio Lauro, Astor Piazzolla, and Ernesto Lecuona.

BIO:
Luis Quintero is hailed as “a possessor of a refined technique, an exceptional musicality and an impressive virtuosity,” he is one of the most worthy representatives of the Great Venezuelan Guitar School. Winner of the Antonio Lauro Prize at the Rodrigo Riera Contest, Luis Quintero is a regular guest at The International Guitar Festival as well as Artistic Director of the International Festival of Guitar and Soloists of the World Academy. He has also received countless recognitions and honors, among them the José Félix Ribas Order in First Class, and has been the recipient of dedications of musical works by many outstanding Venezuelan composers.
Venezuelan musician, Eric Chacón, Bachelor in Academic flute (UNEARTE) born in the state of Táchira in 1985, began his musical studies at the age of 8 years in the nucleus La Rinconada within the system of children's and youth orchestras of Venezuela. He has studied with the most important flute masters of Venezuela, and has performed as an academic flute soloist in many opportunities with the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra, Caracas Youth Orchestra, Táchira State Symphony Orchestra, Yaracuy State Symphony Orchestra and other important orchestras in the country. Winner of the Pepsi award for best jazz song of 2015 (Adiós Nonino) and nominated for best salsa album with his band Charangoza all Star (2016). He was the image of the Yamaha brand for 10 years and is currently developing his career in Florida, USA.
